Ahmadi committee approves KPC request for Al-Zour site allocation

The Ahmadi Governorate Committee of the Municipal Council has approved the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation’s request to allocate Site (F1) in the Al-Zour area, formerly used by Saudi Chevron, for facilities, administrative, and residential purposes.

The allocated site will support KPC’s expansion by providing space for essential infrastructure and housing, strengthening the corporation’s operational presence in the Al-Zour region, reports Al-Rai daily.

The committee retained on its agenda the proposal of the Public Authority for Roads and Land Transport to establish a new entrance from King Fahd bin Abdulaziz Road to improve access to South Al-Sabahiya.

Further deliberations are expected on the road access project, which aims to ease traffic and enhance connectivity for residents of South Al-Sabahiya.
