The trading activity included 421.3 million shares executed through 23,190 spot transactions, with a total value of 72.7 million dinars.
Main Market Index gained 32.14 points (or 0.42%) to reach 7,601.43 points, supported by 268.4 million shares traded in 15,993 transactions, valued at 33.4 million dinars, reports Al-Rai daily.
Premier Market Index fell by 33 points (or 0.36%) to 9,239.07 points, with 152.9 million shares exchanged across 7,197 transactions, amounting to 39.3 million dinars.
Main 50 Index recorded a strong gain of 80.09 points (or 1.07%) to reach 7,588.13 points, driven by 179.3 million shares traded through 8,946 transactions, worth 22.9 million dinars.
The session reflected mixed performance across market segments, with notable strength in the main and mid-cap sectors amid broader market pressures.
