Five firefighting units contain large warehouse blaze in South Amghara

Firefighting teams brought a major warehouse fire under control early Tuesday morning in the South Amghara area, according to the Kuwait Fire Force.
The fire broke out in a warehouse primarily used for storing wood, prompting an urgent response from five fire stations — Tahrir, Jahra Crafts, Istiqlal, Mishref, and Al-Isnad, reports Al-Rai daily.
Upon arrival, firefighters encountered heavy smoke and flames engulfing the storage facility, which posed a significant risk due to the highly flammable materials inside.
Emergency medical personnel were also on hand as a precautionary measure, while firefighting units conducted cooling operations and a final inspection of the site to eliminate the risk of re-ignition.
Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the fire. No fatalities or serious injuries were reported, though the extent of property damage is yet to be fully assessed.
