PAM forms temporary committee to run Kuwait Farmers Union

The Public Authority for Manpower has approved the formation of a temporary committee to oversee the affairs of the Kuwait Farmers Union, in accordance with Ministerial Resolution No. (5) of 2025.

The move, the Al-Rai daily said, is intended to ensure continued operation of the Union and the proper organization of its activities until new elections are held in line with applicable laws and regulations.

The interim committee includes the following members — Ahmed Musleh Dhaher Al-Adwani, Chairman; Fahd Misfer Jaber Al-Hayyan, Vice Chairman; Ahmed Nasser Tayeb Al-Shak, Secretary and Obaid Nasser Abdullah Al-Funaisan, Treasurer.

PAM clarified this step was taken to prevent any disruption to farmers’ interests in the absence of an elected board of directors.

It also emphasized that the committee is temporary and that the Authority will not bear legal responsibility for the committee’s actions.
