Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei announced on Wednesday that Iran’s armed forces are on high alert and will not ignore any attack on our territory. He stressed that “Iran will not accept the imposition of peace or war” and that Tehran “will never surrender” to pressure.
Khamenei added in a televised speech today: “Israel made a grave mistake and will be punished. We will not forgive Israel for violating our airspace.”
Khamenei also said that “the people will not forget… the attack on their land” and the casualties, adding that “all Iranians support our armed forces.”
Speaking of US officials, Khamenei added, “They should know that Iran will not surrender and that any (US) attack will have dire and irreparable consequences.”
Referring to US President Donald Trump’s threats, the Iranian Supreme Leader said, “Those who know Iran’s history know that Iranians do not respond well to threatening language.”
Khamenei says Iran won’t accept “imposed war”, “peace”, and warns any US strikes on its territory will have “serious irreparable consequences”.
Explosions rocked Tehran as Israel claims to hit 40 sites in Iran today alone, including centrifuge and weapons production sites.
