Kirat Yakthung Chumlung and Sunuwar Sewa Samaj co-host ‘Speech and Management’ training

Under the theme “Our Culture, Our Identity; Our Script and Language, Our Pride,” a dynamic training program titled “Speech, Management, Public Speaking, and Event Hosting” was successfully conducted in Kuwait, drawing enthusiastic participation from approximately 60 members of the Nepali diaspora.
Jointly organized by Kirat Yakthung Chumlung Kuwait and Sunuwar Sewa Samaj Kuwait, the program aimed to build the leadership and communication capacity of Nepalis living abroad. The training was led by journalist and youth leader Dipendra Niraula, with event coordination by Surendra Limbu, Secretary of Kirat Yakthung Chumlung Kuwait and a technical member of the NIREM team.
The event was made possible with the sponsorship of frendi mobile and special support from Al Mulla Exchange, the Federation of Nepali Journalists (FNJ) Kuwait Chapter, and NIREM Production, which served as the technical partner.
Delivered through engaging audiovisuals and practical demonstrations, the training covered essential topics including such as emceeing techniques, event and protocol management, agenda setting and program flow, microphone and podium use, public speaking styles and communication strategies, modern methods of audience engagement and practical event hosting tips.
Chief guest of the event was Raj Malla, President of FNJ Kuwait Chapter. Special guests included Hari Lawati, NRNA ICC Member, and Bhuvan Subedi from Al Mulla Exchange, along with representatives from various Nepali community organizations.
The participants praised the quality and relevance of the training. One attendee remarked,
“Receiving such impactful, skill-based training from a Nepali trainer while living abroad is truly inspiring. It highlights the importance of community empowerment beyond just entertainment.”
The training concluded with a formal closing ceremony, where all participants were awarded certificates. The program was described as professionally executed and transformative, leaving a positive mark on the personal growth and leadership capabilities of the Nepali community in Kuwait.
