HUB2ENERGY CEO Campos receives “Highly Commended” recognition

. . . at the Oil & Gas Middle East Awards 2026

Last month, António Azevedo Campos, co-founder and CEO of HUB2ENERGY, was recognized as highly commended in the Change Agent of the Year category at the Oil & Gas Middle East Awards 2026.

The recognition positions a Kuwait-based energy leader among the region’s most prominent voices driving industrial transformation, digital integration, decarbonization, and climate-finance-led delivery.

Commenting on the recognition, Campos said, “I receive this recognition not as a personal distinction, but as a reflection of a collective effort. I dedicate it to the teams behind this work, and to the people of Kuwait, whose resilience and discipline uphold continuity under pressure.

This moment is also a reminder that energy leadership is measured not only by production, innovation, or investment, but by the people it serves, the confidence it builds, and the stability it helps preserve. In today’s world, the highest award in energy is peace”

As Campos emphasized, Kuwait carries a legacy that does more than define its past — it provides the resilience required to navigate the future with clarity, confidence, and strategic intent, reinforcing its position as a stable platform for investment and capital deployment.

The commendation comes at a time when the global energy system is being tested by geopolitical fragmentation, disruptions to energy flows, and increasing complexity in market coordination.

Through HUB2ENERGY, Campos has been advancing a model focused on practical deployment — bridging technology, infrastructure, and capital to deliver measurable outcomes across complex energy systems.

For Kuwait, this moment further highlights the country’s role in shaping a pragmatic and disciplined model of energy — one that balances security, accessibility, and sustainability while safeguarding long-term competitiveness.
