General Traffic Department issues road closure notice

The Ministry of Interior announced that the Seventh Ring Road will be completely closed for three days in the direction from Dhaher and Fintas toward Jahra, beginning Friday, June 13, as part of scheduled routine maintenance to improve road quality and safety.
According to a statement issued by the General Traffic Department, the closure will take effect at exactly 12:00 midnight (between Thursday and Friday). During this period, all traffic headed toward Jahra will be diverted to Sabhan Road (Route 51) to maintain flow and minimize disruption, reports Al-Rai daily,
The Ministry stressed the importance of public cooperation, urging drivers and road users to comply with the designated traffic diversions and to follow instructions issued by traffic police officers stationed in the affected areas. The ministry emphasized that these measures are essential to ensure the safety of motorists and workers on-site during the maintenance work.
The Ministry of Interior has called on the public to plan their routes in advance, remain patient throughout the closure period, and stay informed through official channels for any further updates or changes related to the roadworks.
