Armenia lifts visa requirements for Gulf States to boost tourism, investment

In a strategic move to enhance tourism and attract foreign investment, Armenia announced that it will lift visa requirements for citizens of Bahrain, Oman, and Saudi Arabia.

The policy change is expected to strengthen ties with the Gulf region and stimulate economic activity, particularly in the tourism and hospitality sectors, according to CIVILNET.

Alongside this announcement, Armenian authorities are also addressing regional trade issues, including negotiations with Georgia over recent restrictions on Armenian brandy and wine exports to Russia.

Meanwhile, Armenia’s economy continues to show resilience, with a 5.2% year-on-year GDP growth in the first quarter of 2025, aligning with expert forecasts.
