MOI monitors 118 cyber violations related to morals and public order

The Ministry of Interior, through its Cybercrime Department, has recorded 118 cyber violations in the recent period, involving offenses such as breaching public morals, inciting debauchery and immorality, defaming individuals, and promoting actions contrary to the law and public order.

The Ministry confirmed that all identified cases have been referred to the relevant authorities for legal action, underscoring its commitment to safeguarding societal values and maintaining public security, reports Al-Rai daily.

In a statement, the Ministry reiterated the importance of complying with laws and regulations governing digital conduct. It emphasized that monitoring of online content across digital platforms is ongoing, with the aim of fostering a safe and respectful cyber environment for all.
