Kuwait Navy to conduct live fire exercises Tuesday and Wednesday

The Kuwait Army has announced that naval forces will carry out live ammunition exercises on Tuesday and Wednesday from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the designated naval shooting range.

According to a statement issued by the Moral Guidance and Public Relations Directorate on Sunday, the naval shooting zone is located 16.5 nautical miles east of Ras Al-Julaia, extending from Qaruh Island, and 6 nautical miles east of Ras Al-Zour, extending from Umm Al-Maradem Island, as marked on official maritime maps, reports Al-Rai daily.

The army urged citizens and residents, especially sea-goers and fishermen, to avoid the designated area during the exercise period to ensure public safety.

These drills fall within the framework of the Navy’s scheduled training programs aimed at enhancing operational readiness and combat efficiency.
