A celebration of unmatched love: Aspire honors mothers in grand style
Aspire Indian International School celebrated Mother’s Day on Thursday, May 15, 2025, with a heartwarming and grand event that paid tribute to the profound and irreplaceable role of mothers in society and family life. The celebration was a beautiful blend of emotional expression, cultural vibrancy, and joyful participation.
The event began with an inspiring and touching welcome address by the Principal, Dr. Geetika Ahuja, who set the tone for the day’s festivities. In her eloquent speech, she described mothers as “the silent architects of society and the soul of every family,” emphasizing the deep influence mothers have in shaping the lives of their children and the community at large.
The program featured a wide array of performances by the students, each segment crafted to showcase love, creativity, and gratitude toward mothers. The school’s choir delivered soul-stirring renditions, filling the hall with melodious harmony and heartfelt emotion.
Adding color and charm to the event, LKG students took to the stage in traditional and contemporary attire, walking gracefully in a vibrant fashion show that delighted the audience. The energy levels soared as UKG students performed a captivating fusion dance, followed by an electrifying Zumba routine, both of which highlighted the students’ enthusiasm and joy.
The day was further enlivened by interactive games and spot prizes, which kept both children and parents fully engaged and added an element of surprise and fun to the celebration.
A standout moment of the program was the much-anticipated “Mom’s Style Award”, which celebrated the elegance and individuality of the mothers in attendance. The award was judged by the distinguished Mrs. Shatabdi Mukherjee and Dr. Alice Abraham, who brought both flair and expertise to the judging panel.
The event concluded on a gracious note with a vote of thanks delivered by the respected Vice-Principal, Dr. Alice Abraham, acknowledging the efforts of all participants, staff, and families for making the celebration truly memorable. The program ended with a unifying rendition of the Indian National Anthem, bringing the festivities to a proud and respectful close.
