Kuwait, Google discuss strategic digital partnership to advance ‘New Kuwait 2035’ vision

Minister of State for Telecommunications Affairs Omar Al-Omar held high-level talks with Ruth Porat, CEO of Alphabet Inc. (Google), to explore opportunities for deepening strategic cooperation in the fields of technology, digital transformation, and investment.

In a statement to KUNA the Ministry of Communications, said the meeting took place during Porat’s official visit to Kuwait, accompanied by a senior delegation from Google. Discussions focused on ways to accelerate digital integration across government entities and to align with Kuwait’s national development blueprint, “New Kuwait 2035.”

The Ministry emphasized that the dialogue is part of its broader efforts to position Kuwait as a regional leader in digital innovation and public sector modernization.

The talks are expected to pave the way for future initiatives aimed at enhancing Kuwait’s technological infrastructure, cloud adoption, and digital economy through public-private partnerships.
