Media figure Aisha Al-Rashid fined 50,000 dinars for sect insults
Aisha Al-Rashid was released on 500-dinar bail after being charged with violating the National Unity Law and insulting the Shia sect on her YouTube channel.
The Criminal Court fined media personality Aisha Al-Rashid 50,000 dinars for violating the National Unity Law and insulting a segment of society, according to Al Rai newspaper.
The Public Prosecution had previously released Aisha Al-Rashid on bail of 500 dinars after she was charged with violating the National Unity Law and insulting a segment of society (the Shia sect) through her YouTube channel.
