Ministry of Social Affairs reinforces aid services to ensure social justice
Dr. Khaled Al-Ajmi, Acting Undersecretary of the Ministry of Social Affairs, emphasized the ministry’s ongoing efforts to enhance its services and improve relief distribution mechanisms for eligible groups.

• Dr. Khaled Al-Ajmi confirmed that 413,718,336 Kuwaiti dinars were transferred to 485 cases of citizens’ wives, widows, and divorcees with revoked nationalities under “Article 8.”
Dr. Khaled Al-Ajmi, Acting Undersecretary of the Ministry of Social Affairs, emphasized the ministry’s ongoing efforts to enhance its services and improve aid distribution mechanisms for eligible groups, in alignment with the state’s vision for social justice, as reported by Al Rai newspaper.
He highlighted that social assistance is provided to citizens’ wives, widows, and divorcees whose nationalities have been revoked “Article 8”, in accordance with the Council of Ministers’ directives and the guidance of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, aiming to ensure a dignified life for this group.
Al-Ajmi said in a press statement, “The total amount transferred to bank accounts amounted to 413,718,336 Kuwaiti dinars, covering 485 files of due cases where nationalities were withdrawn.”
He praised the active role of the Family Care Department in expediting the disbursement process, noting that the department worked efficiently to ensure the swift implementation of necessary procedures, aiming to ease the burden on beneficiaries and stabilize this category.
