Kuwait launches initiative for ‘Digital Skills Development’
The Kuwait National Initiative for Digital Skills Development in cooperation with the Central Agency for Information Technology and Google Cloud will provide an opportunity for government leaders, young professionals, and technology specialists, to keep pace with modern global digital developments.
The Kuwait National Initiative for Digital Skills Development was launched to enhance the skills of government employees, private sector workers, and recent graduates in areas such as cloud computing, big data, machine learning, and artificial intelligence. This initiative, in its first phase, is a collaborative effort between the Central Agency for Information Technology and Google Cloud.
The initiative aims to increase participants’ understanding of the role of cloud technology in enhancing government and private sector performance. It also offers free, accredited training and professional certifications from globally recognized Google Cloud.
The training tracks feature programs designed for government leaders, young professionals, and technology specialists, helping them keep pace with the changing times and the modern digital advancements.
Another key focus area is that this initiative also aims in empowering women in technology, by offering advanced training programs, which will increase employment opportunities in data analysis and Artificial Intelligence.
The initiative intends to train approximately 5,000 individuals from the public and private sectors, offering free licenses for accredited professional certification exams.
