U.S. Anti-Trafficking official scheduled to visit Kuwait on Sunday

Cindy Dyer, The U.S. Ambassador-at-Large to Monitor and Combat Trafficking in Persons, will travel to Kuwait to strengthen bilateral relations and discuss about combating human trafficking issues.

The U.S. Ambassador-at-Large for the Office to Monitor and Combat Trafficking in Persons, Cindy Dyer, is scheduled to visit Kuwait next Sunday, to discuss her country’s efforts to combat human trafficking with officials in Kuwait and to strengthen bilateral relations in this area.

During her visit, Dyer will meet with senior officials, highlight the ‘2024 U.S. Trafficking in Persons Report’ and meet with representatives of civil society organizations to discuss their work to combat human trafficking and its impact on society.

Ambassador Dyer’s visit underscores the United States’ commitment in strengthening diplomatic relations and supporting initiatives to combat human trafficking.

What’s more is that Ambassador Dyer is a human rights advocate and lawyer with three decades of experience working at the local, national and international levels to prevent and respond to human trafficking, sexual assault and domestic violence.
