ASSP Kuwait Chapter launches GCC HSE Excellence Award 2024

The American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP) – Kuwait Chapter Core Committee is thrilled to announce the launch of the ASSP GCC HSE Excellence Award 2024, recognising excellence in health, safety, and environmental practices across the Gulf Region.

“This award showcases the dedication and hard work of companies striving to maintain high standards in health, safety, and environmental practices. It is an honor to lead an initiative that promotes excellence and innovation in our field,” stated Eng. Fadel Ali, Chairman of ASSP Kuwait Chapter.

The ASSP GCC HSE Excellence Award aims to recognize leadership, excellence, and exceptional performance in Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) within private sector companies across the Gulf Region. Instituted by the ASSP Kuwait Chapter in 2009, this award honors organizations that have excelled in managing Occupational Health, Safety, and Environment across five categories: Engineering & Construction, Manufacturing, Oil & Gas, Facility & Maintenance, and various Sector.

“We are excited to see the innovative solutions and exceptional safety records from participating companies. This award is a platform to showcase best practices and inspire others in the region to elevate their HSE standards,” said Mr. Faris Al-Mansouri, Director of ASSP GCC HSE Excellence Award 2024.

Awards will be presented in each category, with distinctions of Gold, Silver, Bronze, and Merit. Additionally, special awards will be given for outstanding achievements in the Management of Driving Safety, Best HSE Initiative, Best Environmental Excellence, Best Corporate Social Responsibility, and Best Risk Management.
