Kuwait Launches Security Campaign in Jahra, Arrests 5 Residency Law Violators
Joint operation targets negative practices in Al-Naseem, Al-Qasr and Al-Waha, uncovering multiple food safety, municipal and other violations.

The Jahra Security Directorate has carried out a field security campaign in cooperation with the Committee for Combating Negative Phenomena and several government agencies, targeting violations in Al-Naseem, Al-Qasr and Al-Waha areas.
The campaign involved coordination with Kuwait Municipality, the Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy, and the Public Authority for Food and Nutrition to identify violations, apprehend offenders and take necessary legal action.
According to the Ministry of Interior, the campaign resulted in the arrest of five residency law violators who were engaged in commercial activities inside private residences. Security personnel also apprehended one individual wanted in connection with an absconding case.
The operation also resulted in the issuance of three reports for food safety violations, four municipal violation reports and two reports involving violations under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy.
Authorities also monitored three grocery stores and two bachelor accommodation facilities during the campaign.
The Ministry said the monitoring and recording of violations would pave the way for the necessary legal measures in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
The campaign forms part of the Jahra Security Directorate’s ongoing efforts, in coordination with relevant government agencies, to curb negative practices, enforce regulations and strengthen public safety and security.
