Kuwait Intensifies Traffic Campaigns Targeting Delivery Motorcycles
Authorities urge delivery companies to enforce traffic rules and call on riders to wear helmets, observe speed limits and follow road safety regulations.
Kuwait’s Ministry of Interior, represented by the General Traffic Department, is continuing traffic campaigns targeting delivery motorcycles as part of efforts to improve road safety and curb violations that endanger riders and other road users.
The campaigns focus on ensuring that delivery motorcycle riders comply with traffic regulations, with legal action being taken against violators. Authorities are stressing the importance of riding on the right side of the road, stopping only in designated areas, observing road lines and markings, and obeying traffic signals.
The Ministry also called on delivery companies to monitor their employees’ compliance with traffic laws and regulations. Motorcycle riders have been urged to wear safety helmets, observe speed limits and follow traffic rules to protect themselves and other road users.
The Ministry affirmed that traffic campaigns will continue across various areas of the country as part of its ongoing efforts to enhance road safety.
