DGDC personnel seize nine men, variety of drugs
The Directorate-General for Drug Control of the Ministry of Interior announced on Sunday the arrest of nine individuals in five separate cases. The suspects were found in possession of narcotics and psychotropic substances intended for trafficking and personal use.
In a statement, the Ministry said the seized items included methamphetamine, hashish, heroin, psychotropic pills, Captagon, and papers soaked in synthetic cannabinoids (chemical), in addition to five precision scales, Lyrica capsules, a quantity of tobacco, and cash proceeds from drug sales. The Ministry added that the suspects and seized items were referred to the relevant authorities for legal action.
