7,560 students to benefit from Education Ministry’s free program across Kuwait

The Ministry of Education has completed preparations to launch its Summer Educational Cultural Clubs, a free academic support program that will benefit approximately 7,560 students across 12 locations in various educational districts beginning Sunday, August 2, and continuing until August 19.
The ministry said the initiative targets learners from the primary stage through Grade 9, with the aim of strengthening core academic skills and helping students prepare for the upcoming academic year.
According to the ministry, all participating centers have been fully equipped to receive registered students, with the necessary educational and administrative staff assigned to each location. Additional classes have also been arranged based on student enrolment and educational requirements.
The program will offer free foundational lessons in three key subjects, Arabic, English and Mathematics, focusing on improving students’ reading, writing, comprehension and numeracy skills while addressing learning gaps identified during the previous academic year.
Classes will be held during the evening period, four days a week, and will be delivered by qualified teaching staff assigned to all participating centers to ensure the effective implementation of the program.
The ministry said each club director will organize class schedules according to the number of registered students, the subjects selected during registration and the educational needs of participants, while taking into account classroom capacity to maximize learning outcomes.
Officials noted that the registration of around 7,560 students reflects the strong interest of parents in educational support programs during the summer vacation and underscores the ministry’s commitment to providing additional learning opportunities that enhance students’ academic skills before the start of the new school year.
