317 Residency and labor law violators arrested, 610 deported
The Ministry of Interior announced today, Monday, that 20 inspection tours were carried out, resulting in the arrests of 317 violators of residency and labor laws, and the deportation of 610 violators from December 1 to 5.
The Ministry of Interior said in a press statement that, following the directives of the First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense and Interior, H. E. Sheikh Fahd Yousef Saud Al-Sabah, and in continuation of the intensive security deployment across all governorates of the country to arrest violators and outlaws, the efforts of the General Department of Residence Affairs Investigations resulted in 20 inspection tours from December 1 to 5, 2024.
These efforts led to the arrest of 317 violators of the Residence and Labor Law, with necessary measures being taken against them, and the deportation of 610 violators.
The Ministry of Interior confirmed that it will continue to intensify its security campaigns in various regions of the country and pursue and arrest anyone who violates the residency law, stressing that accountability applies to both the worker and the employer.
