Kuwait has been affected by unstable weather conditions since Tuesday morning, resulting in strong winds and dust storms in certain regions, according to Abdul Aziz Al-Qarawi, the director of the Meteorology Department.
Al-Qarawi stated in a press release that the southeast winds reached speeds of up to 80 kilometers per hour in some areas, leading to dust storms, reduced horizontal visibility to less than 1,000 meters, and wave heights exceeding seven feet at times.
However, the weather expert predicted that wind activity will gradually decrease starting from Tuesday evening, with conditions improving significantly by midnight, reports Al-Qabas newspaper.
Maritime areas and coastal regions are expected to continue experiencing strong winds until midnight.
