Vietnam congratulates Kuwait on the occasion of National & Liberation days

On the occasion of Kuwait’s 64th anniversary of Independence Day and 34th anniversary of Liberation Day, on behalf of Viet Nam government, I would like to express my warmest congratulations to the Amir of Kuwait, His Highness Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah; the Crown Prince, His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah; the Prime Minister, His Highness Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, together with the Royal Family, the Government and the People of Kuwait.

Kuwait has been a great partner of Viet Nam since the two nations established diplomatic relations on 10 January 1976. As we look forward to the 50th anniversary of bilateral ties, we appreciate much the friendship and help that the government and people of Kuwait gave us throughout the years, particularly during our difficult period in the past, and the effective cooperation today in various areas, especially trade, investment, education exchanges… and mutual support at international arenas.

I strongly believe Kuwait will be a nation of lasting prosperity and stability, and will achieve regional and global influence, making contributions to world peace and development. I wish the Kuwaiti people a wonderful holiday, and a brighter future ahead for all.
