UIS hosts expert talk on innovation and lifelong learning

The United Indian School organized an inspiring session under its Expert Talk Series for Grade XII science students, featuring esteemed scientist Dr. Jafarali Parol from the Kuwait Institute of Scientific Research. The session, titled “School to Success: School as a Launchpad for Lifelong Learning and Innovation,” aimed to connect academic learning with real-world technological applications.

Dr. Parol delivered a thought-provoking talk highlighting the vital role of mathematics across fields like aerospace, AI, civil engineering, and diagnostics.

Drawing from local and global examples—such as smart bridges in Kuwait, aircraft vibration analysis, and self-driving technologies—he illustrated how mathematical thinking fuels innovation. “Mathematics is a universal tool that powers everything,” he emphasized, urging students to integrate coding, data science, and statistics into their learning journey.

Principal Mr. Radhakrishnan C addressed the students with an inspiring message on dreaming big and embracing continuous learning. He encouraged students to use platforms like the Expert Talk Series to shape not only their academic path but also their mindset for the future.

The event was smoothly anchored by Ms. Blessy Martin, with a warm welcome by Mr. Jadon John and a heartfelt vote of thanks by Ms. Liya Febi. The session ended with an engaging Q&A, leaving students motivated to stay curious, disciplined, and adaptable in the ever-evolving world of science and technology.
