UIS football teams kick up glory at AMIGOS Youth Championship 2025

Facing fierce competition from seven other teams, their path to victory was a testament to teamwork, discipline, and the spirited resilience that united the United Indian School community in celebration.

In a thrilling tournament that featured top youth talent from across Kuwait, United Indian School’s Under-18 (U-18) team clinched the championship title, displaying exceptional skill, tactical precision, and unwavering determination.

United Indian School (UIS) marked a proud milestone as its football teams excelled at the inaugural AMIGOS Sports Academy Youth Football Championship Cup, held at Sabahiya Football Ground.

In a thrilling tournament that featured top youth talent from across Kuwait, UIS’s Under-18 (U-18) team clinched the championship title, displaying exceptional skill, tactical precision, and unwavering determination.

Facing fierce competition from seven other teams, their path to victory was a testament to teamwork, discipline, and the spirited resilience that united the UIS community in celebration.

Individual honors: Abiel Reju Chandy of Class XII-B was named Best Goalkeeper (U-18), and Chris Jose Mani, Class XII-F and team captain, was awarded Best Defender (U-18).

U-18 championship team: Abiel Reju (XII-B), Chris Jose (XII-F), Samuel Jiboy (XII-I), Nishal Pandika (X-G), Alwin Geo Shaji (XI-I), Jude Reji (XII-H), Sourav Salby(XI-H), Jerom Jogi (XII-B), Niel Abraham (XII-D), Aaron George (XII-I), Austin Babu (XII-A), Anirudh Kalakkattil (XI-I).

Continuing the school’s exceptional run, the Under-15 (U-15) team delivered an inspiring performance, finishing as Runners-Up among 14 competing teams. Their spirited play and unwavering commitment signal a bright future for football at UIS.

U-15 runners-up team: Jensen Vinu (X-J), Aldin Paul (IX-F), Muhammed Hisham (X-J), Siddharth Paul (IX-G), Jonath Rino (X-D), Ryan Roy (Captain, X-C), Aevin Paul (IX-J), Alex Babu (IX-G), Nehemia Thomas (IX-C), Nithish Reddy (X-I)
