  • Emirati companies are inviting investors and businessmen in Kuwait to explore cooperation opportunities across various sectors.

  • The UAE embassy seeks to meet investors and manufacturers, fostering cooperation, boosting employment, exports, and addressing challenges.

  • Twenty UAE companies from diverse sectors, including food security, infrastructure, healthcare, technology, among others are participating in the exhibition and forum.

Abdullah Al-Joaan, Kuwait’s Minister of Trade and Industry, and Dr. Thani Al-Zeyoudi, the UAE’s Minister of Foreign Trade, have demonstrated their support for the UAE Embassy’s initiative to host an exhibition and forum for Emirati companies titled “Exploring Opportunities in the Kuwaiti Market.”

This exhibition and forum aim to introduce Emirati companies to the investment environment, legislative systems, and facilities provided in Kuwait by facilitating dialogue with relevant government agencies such as the Ministry of Trade and Industry, the Investment Promotion Authority, the Public Authority for Manpower, the Public Authority for Industry, and the Public-Private Partnership Authority.

The event also aims to showcase the capabilities and expertise of these companies. Emirati companies are inviting investors and businessmen in Kuwait to explore cooperation opportunities across various sectors.

The trade between these two nations continues to expand, reaching 44 billion and eight hundred dirhams at the end of 2023. This total excludes one million dirhams, equivalent to three billion seven hundred and sixty million Kuwaiti dinars, representing the value of additional services like education, health, tourism, and more. Enhancing the financial valuation of these services undoubtedly amplifies trade volumes between them.

The joint supreme committee, fostering collaboration between these brotherly nations and encouraging the private sector to leverage manufacturing capabilities and investment environments, paves the way for increased cooperation and trade fusion between the UAE and Kuwait. This mutually beneficial approach fortifies both countries against potential external disruptions that could impact transportation, production, and service chains.

The UAE embassy is eager to engage and meet with investors and manufacturers from both countries to enhance cooperation, generate employment opportunities, boost exports, and address any challenges that may arise. Consequently, the idea of organizing an exhibition and forum for Emirati companies emerged, focusing on exploring opportunities within the Kuwaiti market.

This initiative stems from our belief that the Kuwaiti market holds promise, and Emirati companies possess the production capabilities and quality to enter this market successfully, delivering services and products that meet consumer and partner expectations.

Twenty companies from diverse sectors, including food security, infrastructure, healthcare, technology, transportation, shipbuilding, aircraft maintenance, and lubricants, are participating in this exhibition and forum.
