Two Kuwaiti women top the list of excellence in the Gulf
In a new Kuwaiti achievement, Kuwaiti teacher Sanaa Al-Barrak from Safiya Bint Thabet Primary School won the Distinguished Teacher Award from the Hamdan Bin Rashid Foundation for Distinguished Gulf Educational Performance, while student Jinan Al-Sharif from Toledo Girls Secondary School won the Distinguished Student Award.
The Minister of Education and Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Adel Al-Adwani, congratulated the teacher Al-Barrak and the student Al-Sharif on their victory, reports Al-Qabas daily.
In a press statement, he expressed his pride in the Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation’s announcement that the Ministry of Education in the State of Kuwait won the award in the categories of Outstanding Teacher and Outstanding Student at the Gulf level, stressing that this educational achievement reflects the innovation and initiative of the winners to establish concepts of quality and excellence in the scientific and literary fields.
He dedicated this victory to His Highness the Amir, Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad, and to the Prime Minister, His Highness Sheikh Dr. Muhammad Sabah Al-Salem Al-Sabah, calling on all students and teachers to give more and innovate.
