The Ministry of Education has resumed the final exams for twelfth-grade students at the end of the second academic period this year. On Wednesday, both the biology and philosophy exams were conducted smoothly and without any issues. The ministry’s implementation of new stringent measures effectively prevented any exam leaks.

Responsible sources revealed to Al-Rai newspaper that the correction mechanism is carried out normally by the committees of the scientific and literary departments. The success rate in the subjects that have been corrected is normal, and there is no trace of collective cheating or leaking in the students’ answers.

Sources said that the success rate in some subjects in the first semester was about 80 percent, while in the same subjects; it is currently about 82 percent.

They emphasized that everything is reassuring and that the correction committees will conduct a thorough review of the corrected subjects both horizontally and vertically, ensuring fairness in monitoring the final grades of the students. This includes fairness and review by a large number of technical mentors in the field of study.

In this context, the overall statistics for attendance, absence, and deprivation for the literary and scientific sections of the test on Wednesday, revealed 41 cases of deprivation, with 14 cases in the biology subject for the science section and 27 cases in the philosophy subject for the literary section.

The statistics recorded 2,455 cases of absence in the two sections, with 1,104 cases in the scientific section and 1,351 in the literary section.
