Three bootleggers, 200 violators of laws arrested

A series of inspection campaigns organized by the General Administration of Residence Affairs Investigations has resulted in the arrest of 200 violators of residence and labor laws.

During the campaign the security authorities busted a local booze manufacturing facility and took into custody three individuals and seized scores of bottles of booze ready for sale, distillation equipment and manufacturing tools in the Jleeb area, reports Al-Anba daily.

The Ministry of Interior has clarified that the campaign covered various areas, including Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh, Khaitan, Fahaheel, Hawalli, Salmiya, and Al-Farwaniya. Legal actions are being taken against the offenders, and they will be referred to the appropriate authorities.

In a separate incident, three expats have been arrested for consuming drugs and has handed them over to the Directorate-General for Drugs Control.
