TEF celebrates “Kodai Vizha 2025” with grand festivities in Kuwait

Tamilnadu Enginners Forum (TEF), Kuwait hosted its much-anticipated cultural extravaganza “Kodai Vizha 2025” on Friday, 16th May at Al Zumerida Hall, Salwa, celebrating the vibrant spirit of Tamil culture with a day full of joy, talent, and togetherness. The event welcomed members and their families for a fun-filled day that blended tradition with entertainment.
The program commenced at 8:30 AM with a respectful rendition of the Tamil Thai Vaazthu, followed by a Safety Moment presented by Eng. Arun Golden and a Thirukkural recital by Eng. Stanley. The formal Welcome Address was delivered by TEF’s General Secretary, Mr. Balasubramanian, who set the tone for a day of celebration and unity.
The event was graced by prominent guests from Chennai — Mr. Muthukumaran, Bigg Boss Title Winner; Mr. Senthil Das, Renowned Playback Singer and Mr. Mani Chandra, Popular Dance Master and Bigg Boss Fame.
These celebrity guests not only entertained the audience but also judged various on-stage competitions and encouraged the participants with their insights and support.
A wide array of competitions unfolded throughout the day, including Fancy Dress Competition, Best Out of Waste Exhibition, Instrumental Music (Solo & Group), Group Dance Performances, Dumb Charades, Tamil Speech Competition, Solo Singing using Karaoke and a spirited debate show “Tamizha Tamizha”, hosted by Mr. Muthukumaran, featuring teams divided by gender.
Special highlights included a live musical performance by Playback Singer Senthil Das, which was a treat for the audience and one of the most memorable parts of the day.
TEF had earlier conducted a series of off-stage competitions for their members over the past three weeks, including Coloring, Drawing, Rangoli, Mehendi, Short Film, Reels, Memes, Thirukkural Recital, Tamil Jam, English Elocution, and more – all leading to the grand finale performances at Kodai Vizha.
Prizes were distributed to winners across all categories, recognizing their creativity, talent, and enthusiasm. Members and families were treated to breakfast from 7:30, a delicious lunch, and evening snacks and tea, making it a truly wholesome experience for all attendees.
The event was meticulously organized by the TEF-2025 Committee Members under the guidance of President Mr. Raja, whose leadership ensured the event’s grand success.
The day concluded around 7:00 PM with a warm Vote of Thanks delivered by Eng. Justine, acknowledging the efforts of the organizing committee, volunteers, participants, and supporters. Kodai Vizha 2025 came to a joyous close at around 7:00 PM, leaving the members with cherished memories and a sense of cultural pride.
