Tamil Nadu Engineers Forum, Kuwait elects new committee for 2025
The Tamil Nadu Engineers Forum (TEF), Kuwait, is a distinguished nonprofit engineering association, certified to ISO 9001:2015 standards.
Founded by alumni engineers from Tamil Nadu, India, TEF has a membership of around 550 engineers residing in Kuwait and is officially registered with the Indian Embassy in Kuwait.
TEF, which is aligned with its core objectives of professional development and community building, organizes a series of technical seminars & conferences (TICE), to enhance the technical knowledge and skills of its members. This commitment to excellence has established TEF as a leading professional organization within the Kuwaiti engineering landscape.
TEF provides an exceptional platform for companies to connect with a highly qualified audience through the Technological Innovations Conference & Exposition (TICE), which is organized every year.
Furthermore, TEF fosters a strong sense of community by organizing enriching family events such as Kodai Vizha, cultural programs, family picnics, sports days, and walkathons exclusively for its members.
In 2025, the new organizing committee of the Tamil Nadu Engineers Forum (TEF) will take charge under the leadership of Mr. Raja (President) and Mr. Balasubramanian (General Secretary) during the valedictory function of TEF 2024, held at the American International School (AIS) Auditorium on December 20, 2024.
The office bearers for TEF 2025 were elected unopposed, following a well-coordinated election process managed by election officers Mr. Ramaraj and Mr. Bala Elamaran.
The election officers, Mr. Ramaraj and Mr. Bala Elamaran, were felicitated by Mr. Raja and Mr. Balasubramanian for ensuring a seamless and smooth election process.
The new committee of the Tamil Nadu Engineers Forum (TEF) comprises Mr. Raja as President, Mr. Balasubramanian as General Secretary, Mr. Arun Golden as Treasurer, Mr. Subramanian as Vice President, Mr. Periyasamy as Joint Secretary, Mr. Kapil Duraisamy as Joint Secretary (IT), and Mr. Justin Anto Prasanna as Joint Treasurer, forming the Executive Committee.
Additionally, the team includes the following esteemed members: Mr. Gem Prasanna, Mr. Anantharaj R, Mr. Kalai Arasan, Mr. Maniyarasu, Mr. Murali Krishnan, Mr. Middleton, Mr. Karthik Ramadoss, Mr. Parthiban, Mr. Sathish kumar, Mr. Senthil kumar, Mr. Stanley Charles, Mr. Subbu, Mr. Ukkirapandian, Mr. Reckston, Mr. Raj Narayanan Desigan, Mr. Asokan Mani, Mr. Suresh Anand, and Mr. Ananth Raj.
President Mr. Raja introduced the executive committee members, and during his speech, outlined the vision and mission of TEF, emphasizing the importance of upholding its legacy.
Mr. Raja highlighted the team’s collective experience and commitment to leading the forum, drawing upon past achievements. Following this, Mr. Balasubramanian, General Secretary, introduced the other office bearers and presented a roadmap of exciting activities planned for 2025.
Key highlights of the upcoming year for TEF include the Inaugural and Technical Symposia, a Cultural Event, a Walkathon, the InnoEx interschool science competition, a Sports Day, and the flagship event: the Technological Innovations Conference & Exposition (TICE) 2025, and the 9th Engineering Excellence Awards (EEA), scheduled for 9th October 2025 at a prominent venue in Kuwait.
The new committee of TEF will commence its activities in January 2025 with a commitment to engaging members and their families through a diverse range of technical and cultural events.
TEF eagerly anticipates continued support from all Indian Associations and other communities in Kuwait.
