Sweeping security campaign launched in Hawally Square
The comprehensive security and traffic campaign was launched under the direct leadership and supervision of Acting Prime Minister Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousef.

• A total of 921 traffic violations were issued in Hawally Square, and 26 individuals were arrested for various offenses, including residency and labor law violations, absconding, outstanding arrest warrants, and drug-related cases.
The Ministry of Interior has launched a comprehensive security and traffic campaign in the Hawally Square area, under the direct leadership and supervision of Acting Prime Minister Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousef, according to Arabic daily Al Rai.
The campaign saw the participation of all field units within the Traffic and Operations Affairs Sector, including the General Traffic Department, the General Department of Emergency Police, the Central Operations Department, and the Private Security Sector. Female police officers also took part, playing a key role in boosting the campaign’s effectiveness and supporting its security goals.
The campaign yielded the following results: 921 various traffic violations were issued; five individuals were arrested for violating residency and labor laws; five others were apprehended for absconding; three individuals wanted for arrest were detained; three suspects were referred to the General Department for Combating Drugs; eight vehicles and motorcycles wanted by the judiciary were seized; and ten vehicles and motorcycles were impounded for traffic violations.
