Suspect flees on foot, leaves drugs and cash behind

A suspected drug user fled on foot from police in the Saad Al-Abdullah area, leaving behind a vehicle containing a big quantity of pills and cash.

A security source told Al-Anba daily, the emergency police have referred the case to the General Department of Narcotics Department after the suspect allegedly left behind in his vehicle 981 Lyrica pills and 1,420 Kuwaiti dinars in cash.

Following the suspect’s escape, authorities have seized the vehicle and are coordinating with the General Traffic Department to identify the owner. It remains unclear whether the car belongs to the suspect or ‘someone’ else.

The daily did not give more details about the incident.
