South Saad Al-Abdullah, Al-Mutlaa set for 114 million dinar revamp
The Public Authority for Housing Welfare has launched four tenders to improve infrastructure, electricity, and lighting in South Saad Al-Abdallah and Al-Mutlaa cities.

• The Public Authority for Housing Welfare awarded the tender for the construction of the main power plant, operating at 11/132 400 kilovolts, in the South Saad Al-Abdullah housing city with a value of approximately 32.2 million dinars.
The Public Authority for Housing Welfare has launched four major development tenders, worth a total of approximately 114.67 million dinars, to improve infrastructure, electricity, and lighting in South Saad Al-Abdallah and Al-Mutlaa cities, aiming to enhance services for citizens, according to Al-Anbaa newspaper.
Informed sources revealed that the authority awarded the tender for the construction of the main power plant SSAB 4Z, operating at 11/132 400 kilovolts, in the South SaadAl-Abdullah housing city to a local company, with a value of approximately 32.2 million dinars.
The sources indicated that three companies applied to compete, and the winning company was selected for offering the lowest price while meeting the required criteria, including a minimum capital of five million dinars.
In another development, the authority awarded a tender worth approximately 77.2 million dinars to a Chinese company for the establishment, completion, and maintenance of infrastructure networks and roads, as well as the construction of irrigation tanks and power substations for eight residential suburbs in South Saad Al-Abdullah.
The sources noted that 13 companies applied for the tender, and the winning company was chosen based on the highest efficiency standards and the lowest prices.
Additionally, in the residential city of Al-Mutlaa, the authority announced the awarding of a tender for the supply, implementation, and maintenance of road lighting for the N2, N3, and N4 suburbs to a specialized local company, valued at approximately 2.867 million dinars.
It was pointed out that the company was selected after a competition among eight companies, meeting all conditions, including experience in similar works over the past ten years, with a minimum capital of ten million dinars.
In the same context, the authority launched another tender for the implementation and maintenance of road lighting in suburbs N5, N12, and N1 in Al-Mutlaa city, awarded to a local company for approximately 2.4 million dinars, after a competition that saw eight companies participate.
The sources emphasized that these projects align with the authority’s vision to enhance the quality of life in residential cities through comprehensive infrastructure and facility development, aiming to meet citizens’ aspirations and achieve long-term sustainable growth.
