The “Solti Musical Event 2025” came alive at the Aspire Indian International School auditorium in Kuwait, drawing over a thousand music lovers from the Nepali community and beyond.
Organized by Solti Group, the evening celebrated cultural unity among expatriates in the Gulf through more than five hours of nonstop performances spanning pop, folk, and Tamang Selo genres.
The concert opened with a soulful folk rendition by Meena Pokharel, setting a warm tone that segued into spirited sets by Krishna Reule and Tamang Selo artist Jitu Lopchan. Asmita Adhikari’s melodic vocals kept the momentum flowing, but it was Durgesh Thapa’s electrifying medley of back-to-back hits that truly ignited the crowd, keeping energy levels at their peak.
A memorable surprise came when Kuwaiti guest artist Mubarak Al Rashid took the stage to perform a Nepali song, his sincere command of the language and heartfelt delivery earning a standing ovation.
In the dance segment, Robin Tuladhar’s infectious energy and seamless fusion of traditional and contemporary moves created an unforgettable atmosphere that resonated throughout the auditorium long after the final beat.
His Excellency Ghanashyam Lamsal, Nepal’s Ambassador to Kuwait, honored the occasion as chief guest, presenting “Tokens of Love” to individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the community.
Warm wishes and remarks were shared by prominent figures such as Sujan K.C. of Dampa Chautari Restaurant, FNJ Kuwait President Raj Malla, Janajati Federation’s Amrit Tamang, and Ramita Yonjan, Vice President of NCC Kuwait Women’s Wing.
Under the leadership of Solti Group President Randhoj Rana and the coordination of Bikash Singh Thakuri — with Nirem Production managing logistics and Dipendra Niraula hosting — the event ran seamlessly from start to finish.
Solti Musical Event 2025 not only showcased exceptional talent but also reinforced the bonds of music and culture that unite Nepalese expatriates in Kuwait.
