Shell believed to be invasion remnant found in Al-Liyah Desert
Patrol officers responded to a report of a shell discovered by a passerby in the Al-Liyah desert, according to a security source.
The source told Al-Anba that authorities received the report yesterday regarding the presence of what is believed to be a remnant from the Iraqi invasion.
Security personnel immediately proceeded to the site, secured the area, and awaited the arrival of specialized units to handle and remove the shell safely.
A formal report of the incident has been filed.
