Sheikh Jarrah, Lavrov discuss expanding ties across various fields during New York talks
Kuwait Foreign Minister Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah met his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov in New York on Friday, with bilateral relations and ways to strengthen cooperation between the two countries at the center of discussions.
The meeting took place on the sidelines of the high-level week of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly.
According to Kuwait’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the two ministers reviewed bilateral relations between Kuwait and the Russian Federation and discussed ways to further strengthen and develop them across various fields.
The talks that covered the latest developments on the regional and international arenas formed part of Kuwait’s diplomatic engagements during the UN General Assembly’s high-level week, with Sheikh Jarrah holding discussions focused on Kuwait’s bilateral relations and developments of regional and international importance.
