Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Cultural Center unveils exciting cultural season

Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Cultural Center has announced the commencement of its upcoming cultural season, running from February 14 to June 27, featuring enchanting evenings of music with the participation of regional and international orchestras, a first-of-its-kind cultural experience in Kuwait.

The inaugural artistic evening on February 14 will showcase the talents of Palestinian artist Nay Barghouti at the prestigious “Sheikh Jaber Al-Ali” hall. On February 18, the National Theater will host the Hadhrami Orchestra, renowned for its presentation of Yemeni heritage and making its debut in Kuwait under the baton of Maestro Muhammad Al-Qahum, reports Al-Qabas daily.

A highlight of the cultural season is the “Hood of the Night” event on February 20 and 21, featuring two distinct concerts. The first night will showcase performances by artist Tariq Suleiman and Bahraini artist Muhammad Al-Bakri, while the second night will be revived by artist Tariq Al-Kharif. On February 27, singer Salman Al-Ammari will captivate the audience with a concert accompanied by the Al-Mas Folklore Band.

Closing the February lineup on February 28 and March 1 is a musical performance titled “Quraysh,” created by a group of Kuwaiti artists.

Looking ahead to April, the “Medley” concert will take center stage on the 13th and 14th, presenting a selection of Kuwaiti, Gulf, and Arab songs under the direction of Maestro Dr. Muhammad Al-Baijan.

From May 1 to 4, the National Theater will host “The World of Abdul Hussein!” – a grand show featuring over 80 artists celebrating the illustrious career of the late comedy icon Abdul Hussein Abdul Reda.
In May, the Egyptian band “Spirit of the East” will captivate audiences from May 22 to 24, while the musical play “Umm Kulthum… with Marwa Naji” will be presented on May 29 and 30, offering a captivating portrayal of the life of Umm Kulthum, the iconic star of the East.

June will see the continuation of the cultural festivities with two captivating concerts titled “One Hundred Years of Kuwaiti Song” and “Manama Night.”
