Saudi Interior Ministry delegation reviews Kuwait’s experience in securing tourist sites

The Head of the Public Security Directorates Affairs Sector, Major General Hamad Al-Munifi, met on Sunday with a delegation from the Saudi Ministry of Interior, as part of ongoing efforts to enhance security cooperation and coordination between the two brotherly countries.

The visit aimed to learn from Kuwait’s experience in securing tourist facilities and sites, reflecting both nations’ shared commitment to strengthening regional safety and stability.

Major General Al-Munifi welcomed the visiting delegation, praising the deep-rooted fraternal ties between Kuwait and Saudi Arabia and highlighting the continuous progress in security collaboration across multiple fields.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed several topics of mutual interest, focusing on exchanging expertise and developing public security systems to serve common goals and enhance overall security effectiveness.

The Saudi delegation also visited the Public Security Directorates’ operations room, where they were shown a visual presentation outlining the sector’s work mechanisms, including a detailed explanation of the report-handling process via the emergency hotline (112) — from receiving the call to taking necessary measures and closing the case.
