Kuwaiti Army Chief visits Salem Al-Sabah Air Base

Chief of Staff of the Kuwaiti Army, Lieutenant General Khaled Al-Shuraian, visited Salem Al-Sabah Air Base on Sunday.
He was received by Air Force Commander Brigadier General Pilot Nasser Al-Shuraidah and a number of senior Air Force officers.

In a press statement, the Army’s General Staff said Lieutenant General Al-Shuraian received a comprehensive briefing on the base’s key missions, duties, and the advanced technical systems supporting the Air Force’s diverse operational roles.
During the visit, Al-Shuraian conducted a field tour that included an inspection of the Bayraktar TB2 aircraft, assessing its advanced capabilities designed to meet the demands of modern air operations.

The tour also covered the Eurofighter hangars, where he was briefed on operational mechanisms and the training programs provided for pilots and technicians — programs that play a vital role in strengthening the Air Force’s efficiency and combat readiness.
Lieutenant General Al-Shuraian expressed appreciation for the professionalism and dedication of the base’s personnel, praising their high performance and commitment. He reaffirmed his ongoing support for developing the Kuwait Air Force, emphasizing the importance of maintaining peak readiness to protect the nation’s airspace and ensure its security and stability.
