‘Sahel’ app simplifies donations for ‘Your Fear Is Their Joy 2’ campaign
The initiative includes an electronic service enabling users to donate directly through the application.
Yousef Kazim, the spokesperson for the unified government electronic services application, “Sahel,” announced that, following the Council of Ministers’ directives, the “application” will partake in the Ministry of Social Affairs’ campaign aimed at debtors, titled “Your fear is a joy for them 2.”
The campaign, launched at nine o’clock in the evening on Monday, includes an electronic service enabling users to donate directly through the application.
Kazem mentioned in a statement to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that the new service enables users of the application to contribute directly and securely to the campaign organized by the Ministry of Social Affairs in collaboration with the Ministries of Justice, Information, Endowments and Islamic Affairs, the Union of Consumer Cooperative Societies, and the Union of Charitable Societies and Foundations. This allows for the transparent demonstration of the collected amount.
He explained that to participate in donating, the application user must go to the “Services” menu, then choose the Ministry of Social Affairs, and then click on “National Gharmin Campaign” to carry out the donation process.
Kazem praised the Ministry of Social Affairs for its diligence in monitoring preparations to ensure the campaign’s launch on the scheduled date and the ease with which individuals can use the application to participate and donate. This contributes to bringing joy to the families of debtors burdened by debt.
