Saad Al-Alati appointed acting Undersecretary at Finance Ministry
Finance Minister Dr Yaqoub Al-Rifai has issued a ministerial decree appointing Saad Al-Alati as Acting Undersecretary of the Ministry of Finance, effective November 1, 2026.
Under Ministerial Decree No. 69 of 2026, Al-Alati, who serves as Assistant Undersecretary for Technical Services, will assume the acting undersecretary’s responsibilities alongside his existing duties until a new appointment is made.
The decision follows Ministerial Decree No. 68 of 2026, under which the minister decided not to renew the appointment of Asil Al-Munifi as Acting Undersecretary of the Ministry of Finance. Her service ended at the close of business on Thursday, according to the decree.
