Road diversion on Al-Ghous Street to open this Friday between Jaber Al-Ali and Al-Egaila

The Public Authority for Roads and Land Transport (PART), in coordination with the General Traffic Department, has announced the implementation of a new road diversion on Al-Ghous Street, which will go into effect at dawn on Friday.
According to the official statement, the diversion will affect the stretch of Al-Ghous Street between Jaber Al-Ali and Al-Egaila, specifically beginning from the intersection of Al-Ghous Street with the Seventh Ring Road and extending to the start of the overpass at the intersection with Khalifa Talal Al-Jari Street, reports Al-Jarida daily.
Authorities explained that the move comes as part of ongoing infrastructure and development works aimed at improving traffic flow and road safety in the area.
The diversion is expected to facilitate smoother vehicular movement while work is being carried out and to ensure minimal disruption to daily commuters.
Motorists are advised to follow directional signs and adhere to speed limits in the affected zone. Both the Public Authority and the Traffic Department have urged drivers to exercise caution and patience during the initial days of the diversion as traffic adjusts to the new route.
Further updates and guidance will be issued if there are any changes to the traffic plan.
