Rescue police arrest 434 suspects, seize 23 vehicles, record over 4,600 violations in nationwide crackdown

The General Department of Rescue Police announced the arrest 32 individuals between May 18 and 24 for various offenses, including possession of narcotics or intoxicants and driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol and handed them over to the General Department for Combating Narcotics for further legal action.

In a post on “X” platform, the Rescue Police stated that these arrests were part of its ongoing efforts to combat lawlessness, reports Al-Anba daily.

Additionally, the department reported the arrest of 402 individuals during nationwide security campaigns. Those apprehended included criminal convicts, fugitives, detainees, residency law violators, persons wanted for investigation, and individuals without identification documents.

The campaigns also led to the seizure of 23 vehicles wanted by the judiciary, the resolution of six disputes, response to 154 traffic accidents, and four run-over cases. Moreover, the department recorded a total of 4,633 traffic violations during the same period.
