Real estate transactions reach 129 contracts worth 78 million dinars in a week

Statistics released by the Real Estate Registration and Documentation Department at the Ministry of Justice on Tuesday revealed that 129 real estate contracts were traded during the week of October 26–30, with a total value of approximately 78 million dinars.
According to the ministry’s published data, private real estate contracts dominated the market, with 94 properties exchanged, totaling 40.5 million dinars.
Investment properties followed, with 30 contracts valued at 21 million dinars, while commercial real estate saw four contracts worth 14 million dinars, reports Al-Rai daily.
Additionally, a single warehouse property was traded for 2.7 million dinars.
In terms of geographical distribution:
- Capital Governorate — 6 private, 3 investment, 2 commercial contracts
- Ahmadi Governorate — 28 private, 15 investment, 1 commercial contract
- Hawalli Governorate — 20 private, 5 investment, 1 commercial contract
- Mubarak Al-Kabeer Governorate — 19 private, 3 investment contracts
- Al-Jahra Governorate — 12 private, 2 investment contracts
- Al-Farwaniya Governorate — 9 private, 2 investment, 1 warehouse contract
The data reflects a continued robust activity in Kuwait’s real estate sector, with private properties remaining the most actively traded segment.
