The Public Prosecution announced on Saturday that it had initiated an investigation into the crime of purchasing votes from voters in exchange for money, which occurred in the third district. This investigation targets two citizens, one of whom was found in possession of mobile phones, a laptop computer, and lists containing voters’ names and numbers.
The Public Prosecution has ordered the detention of one individual and the arrest of the other. Investigation procedures are currently underway and nearing completion.
