Public Authority for Youth empowers the next generation of entrepreneurs

The Public Authority for Youth (PAY) has reaffirmed its dedication to empowering Kuwaiti youth by providing them with opportunities to excel in leadership and entrepreneurship. Through a variety of forums and training programs, the Authority aims to nurture dialogue, critical thinking, and self-confidence among young people.
Speaking to KUNA during the launch of the “Distinguished” forum—part of the Authority’s Elite Training Program—official spokesperson Asrar Al-Ansari emphasized that the initiative, held at the Al-Daiya Youth Center, serves as a platform for youth to broaden their horizons, engage in dialogue, and exchange experiences and viewpoints.
Al-Ansari noted a strong turnout for the Authority’s capacity-building programs, especially from young professionals working in the private sector and small business owners. She underlined that “developing youth and strengthening their competencies across various fields remains a top priority for the Authority.”
Hanadi Al-Dosari, Director of the Elite Training Program, explained that the “Distinguished” forum targets Kuwaiti youth aged 20 to 35 who are interested in leadership and entrepreneurship. The event features panel discussions with current and former leaders and entrepreneurs who share their personal journeys, offering valuable insight and inspiration to those looking to start or grow their own businesses.
Al-Dosari also noted that the forum builds on the success of the “Hour of the Distinguished” event, and is scheduled to take place once or twice a month, with the goal of maintaining year-round engagement.
The latest forum session featured a dialogue with entrepreneur Jassim Abdul Wahab, who shared his experience in launching small businesses and strategies for development and marketing. His insights were met with great interest and enthusiasm from the young attendees.
Through initiatives like these, the Public Authority for Youth continues to foster a generation of capable, confident, and innovative young leaders ready to contribute to Kuwait’s future.
