Public Authority for Manpower adopts GCC job title standards
The professional descriptions were adopted after consultations with GCC ministries, regulatory bodies, and professional organizations.
The Public Authority for Manpower is committed to implementing the GCC unified guide for professional classification and job titles, in line with Kuwait’s approved academic qualifications, sources told Al-Anba newspaper.
The sources confirmed that the required documents ‘educational qualifications’ for job title approval align with the unified GCC guide, which has been implemented across all GCC countries for several years following a GCC decision.
The sources noted that the professional descriptions were adopted after studies and discussions involving all relevant authorities in the GCC countries, including ministries, competent bodies, and professional organizations.
The sources also indicated that the cancellation of the cooperation agreement currently affects only the Society of Engineers. Agreements with other professional associations are still under review, and no decision has been made to cancel them.
